
Ron started in the securities business in 1992, co-founding Wagner Loftin Investment Services in 1993. He holds series 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities registrations with Osaic Wealth, Inc.
Ron was raised in Buffalo, New York and graduated from the University of New York Business School. While working his way through college, holding a full time job at Allied Chemical and raising his family he advanced through successive assignments in operations and maintenance with promotions to supervisory and management roles. He also served in the armed forces and is a Vietnam Veteran. Upon his return to civilian life, he continued his work at Allied Chemical and was selected to participate in the executive training program via the Harvard Business school program. During this time Ron expanded his knowledge and accepted a refinery superintendent position with Pennzoil. In 1980 he accepted similar responsibilities with Chevron Corporation which brought him to the California coast. He then co-founded Wagner Loftin Investment Services to manifest his passion in investing and financial services. After more than 50 years of personal and work relationships he still maintains and enjoys the business contacts and relationships with long time friends.
Ron and his wife Fran have been married for over 52 years and have lived in California since 1980. They have two daughters, Jill and Robin, both working with him in this business and two grandchildren Jake & Josie who live close by.
Ron received his Private Pilot’s License in 2005 followed with a pilot instrument rating and now combines his love of flying with client visits throughout the western states.
